Jim Kardos is technical leader with 15 years of experience, and serves as the Chief Technical Advisor and Vice Chair of the Board of NexaTalent

Jim has served in various roles in both Amazon and Microsoft over the last 12 years. At Amazon, he managed a cross-functional team to build a platform to buy products on a monthly payment plan with no financing, created and launched Amazon EventBridge, and launched one of Amazon’s first physical retail stores. At Microsoft, Jim is spearheading the engineering team developing the Outlook Copilot Service, a pioneering advancement in Outlook’s infrastructure specifically tailored to accommodate generative AI technologies using OpenAI into Outlook.

Jim’s expertise lies in cultivating high-performing teams that consistently deliver innovative features at a rapid pace and is an expert at operating the world's highest volume environments.

Additionally, Jim served as both an Amazon Bar Raiser and Microsoft As-Appropriate and drives refinement to hiring practices across his organizations.
