Baylen Smith is a 14-year Talent Acquisition specialist and founder and CEO of NexaTalent.

Before founding NexaTalent in September 2023, Baylen was Amazon Games' Global Head of Talent Acquisition and was responsible for all of the organizations worldwide recruiting and people operations, including end-to-end management of the Amazon Games recruiting flywheel, hiring forecasts, and site-expansion and support in all markets and countries. He also headed Amazon's AWS MAS2 division, supporting a 5,000-person business organization and delivering over 1,500 hires. Baylen also led the creation and development of the Amazon Ascent program, an upskilling program focused on non-traditional technical talent, receiving a $1.5M dollar seed investment and global Amazon adoption. His achievements include the creation of Amazon's Front-End Engineer job family, an active Amazon Bar Raiser and Promotion Leader, roles that highlight his expertise in identifying and nurturing top talent.

Prior to Amazon Baylen held impactful leadership roles delivering hiring strategies, from early career to executive talent, for both Visa, Inc and Insight Global, Inc.
